I’m Likhitha, a Product Designer with 7+ years of experience and 4+ years building thoughtful, enterprise-grade experiences at Microsoft. I focus on building intuitive, data-driven, and increasingly AI-powered experiences that help people get started, understand value faster, and make confident decisions.

My path into UX wasn’t linear—I began as a fine artist, painting in an Indian contemporary style where bold color and narrative shape every decision. Over time, that artistic lens evolved into my design practice: an obsession with clarity, balance, empathy, and turning complexity into something people can trust and actually enjoy using.

Since then, I’ve worked across cross-functional teams—PMs, engineers, data scientists, marketers—translating messy enterprise constraints into experiences that feel structured, lightweight, and meaningful. I thrive in ambiguity: growth problems, onboarding flows, activation journeys, and systems that guide users without overwhelming them.

TESTIMONIALS
What Colleagues say

Likhitha consistently brings exceptional product thinking into design. She does not just execute on requirements, she deeply understands user pain points, system constraints, and business goals, and translates them into thoughtful, scalable UX solutions. On Iris, she played a critical role in simplifying highly technical workflows, reducing cognitive load for users, and bringing clarity to experiences that previously relied on fragmented tools and manual processes.

What truly sets Likhitha apart is her ability to collaborate. She is proactive, detail-oriented, and extremely strong at iterating with product and engineering partners. Likhitha is a designer who elevates every project she touches.

Alex Powel

Design Director, Microsoft.

I worked with Likhitha for a little over a year, and she made a big difference on our team. Before she joined, Iris was mostly an engineering-driven product with very little design thinking behind it. In the past year, she completely changed that.
She has very good instincts. She knows when to explore many ideas and when to focus on one direction. She doesn’t design just to create screens, she takes time to understand the product, the personas, the user flow, and the real problem. Only after she is confident does she start designing. She also managed work across 3–4 PMs at the same time, often on very different experiences. Handling that with calm and ownership is not easy, but she did it really well.

Swami Chandramouli

Senior Product Manager, Microsoft

Likhitha has more thoughtfulness, empathy, and focus than designers with many years of experience. She asks deep questions to get to the bottom of whatever user pain point we're trying to solve. One of my favorite things about Likhitha is that she is an entrepreneur which comes through in her work - she understands what it's like to create a business, the need to create true value for people, plus she has a lot of grit and gets things done! She isn't afraid to tackle big, hairy projects and massive user workflows with very little context.

As a startup, our design needs span a lot of ground, and Likhitha takes it on with excitement. Most importantly, she is a pleasure to work with! As a startup, work is chaos, but it makes all the difference having people like Likhitha who are in the trenches with you who stay positive, collaborate seamlessly, and keep trudging through!
